The Food Pantry fund is for buying food from Hoosier Hills and then wholesale stores and butchers. The Emergency Shelter Fund (set-a-side) is money put aside that would be used if we had to take over or close the shelter.
Budget Review
The increase in growth quotient was 4 percent. Employee wages were discussed by the Board and the Trustee. Rainy Day Fund and/or Capital Improvement plan has an increased budget in anticipation of a new roof for building “B”, pantry upgrades, etc. Township form 17 changes were also discussed to increase the spend down in surplus adding a budget for interns and a part-time temporary position as well as repairs and maintenance.
